The Natural History Museum offers this database containing new, high quality colour images of Stanley Duxbury's (1983) type and figured specimens, from the Micropalaeontology Collections. The database can searched via taxon; in addition there are browsable collections of images, plates and movies (requires Quicktime), plus a list of type specimens. The introductory section comments on the techniques used to produce the images including the use of 'Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy' (CLSM).
