Name: Wildlife Sightings Database Institution: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew Address: Richmond, Surrey TW9 3AB URL: http://data.kew.org/wild/ Country: The United Kingdom Description:
The wildlife sightings database contains information on recent wildlife activities at both RBG Kew and Wakehurst Place (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in Surrey and the sister gardens in West Sussex). Input into the database is undertaken by staff of the gardens and volunteers throughout the year. Data is retrievable via different groups of organisms; vertebrates, invertebrates, plants, fungi and lichens. The vertebrates, invertebrates and plant groups are then further sub-divided into smaller searchable groups. Contact details are provided for those who wish to volunteer in wildlife observation activities both at Kew or Wakehurst.
