Description:
The presentation was given at the Delos Summer School (Tirrenia, June 2008). This presentation introduces the different activities, aims, tasks and working groups of the project nestor. It focuses on the results of an online-survey that was carried out within the context of nestor and conducted in summer 2007 at the University of Göttingen (Germany). To delve into the difficulty regarding scientific data, the presentation additionally refers two research projects that are not part of nestor but are also dealing with scientific research data: the project KoLaWiss and the EU-funded PARSE, which are currently running at the University of Göttingen.
